I chose these house stamps from Polka Doodles then I embossed in gold on kraft card. They have lots of detail on them. Then I coloured the windows with yellow pencil crayon.
You'd never know that this gold ribbon says Marks and Spencer on the back! I can't throw anything like that away. I managed to tie the knot and keep the words hidden.
Finally I added a few stars in the sky which gives a little sparkle.
We hope you enjoy our latest challenge and feel inspired to join in.
Thanks for visting and I hope you have time to get crafty this week.

I've used:

Gold embossing powder
Versamark embossing pad
Gold stars

ReplyDeleteJust right for the colour challenge and it makes for an unusual Christmas card. I have those quirky house stamps lurking somewhere in my stash, not used for ages I'm ashamed to say!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog and for giving me a gentle reminder of CCTD. Love the colour choices I will go and see what I have can dig out to enter this months challenge.
ReplyDeleteNo I didn't get my beans planted yesterday but as the sun is shining now I must go and do it. Was hoping my son may have popped in to carry the bag of soil down the garden for me. Raised garden beds always need topping up it seems.

Now I'm having a "why didn't I think of that" moment! Absolutely fantastic way to use the colour combo, and a very stylish card. And I love that you recycled the bow! Lucinda
