One layer wreath

Hello lovely crafters,
I'm not sure why I've never found this challenge before, maybe I have but I was just at challenge overload. Seriously there are 2 or 3 a week I'd like to enter but I'll have to give up work and I really don't need that many cards.

Please grab our logo

Stamping Sensations. This month it's a One Layer Christmas Card Challenge. Maybe monthly challenges are the answer...
Stamping is my first love though now I wander into die cutting and design paper too.

I also love stamping wreaths and this one is built up with mostly Card-io stamps in green and then I added gold embossing. It wasn't quite right so I added the red flowers which are also embossed.
I'm frustrated as usual by trying to get a good picture.
Other stamps are on a need to know basis - if you need to know just ask. x

  1. That is a pretty one layer card with a great bold sentiment in the middle. Nice touch to do the embossing in red and gold. I try to enter a few but by the time I get round to making a card to enter a challenge, its closed or I forget what card is where lol x

  3. I'm really pleased that you found us too Alison as your card is beautiful and just perfect for our one layer challenge. I've always enjoyed monthly challenges as you have more time to think and then create something with time to spare. I, like you, found that I was making far too many cards for my needs, so monthly challenges was the way to go. Your card is beautifully clean and simple and I like the variation in colour with the different greens that you've used. Thank you for sharing it with us at Stamping Sensations and I do hope that you'll come and join us again. Good luck, Sandra x
