Third time lucky

Hello lovely crafters.
We've had some beautiful weather here recently and all my time has been spent outside. I still have to try and cram in time to make a Christmas card every week and this one actually came together very quickly on the third go!

Our challenge this week at 52CCT is to use lace.

I never go as far as looking for real lace. I found this lacy edge stamp and like the look of it. I'm sure I have some pretty lace and it would look good on a card.
I've used stamps from several sets to create my border and coloured the lights and stars with yellow sparkly gel pen.
If you'd like to search through your stash for lace then do join in. The challenge closes on Friday.
Thanks for visiting and Enjoy a lovely weekend. x

I have actually timed this right for the Rudolf Days Challenge this month. Enter a Christmas themed card between the 25th and the end of the month.

Falling stars and an apology

Hello lovely crafters
Here is my card for this weeks 52CCT challenge on the them of Stars:

It's a lovely theme and should get your ideas flowing. I had an idea of what I wanted to do but when I'd made it it didn't look very Christmassy so I made another one at high speed in different colours. It's actually better too though I'm not quite happy with the sentiment. Bit mad though, making it all again, but I have another version ready for another occasion!

I cut out the stars which came from The Range and are very pretty but are a fiddle to get out of the dies.
Mounted it on a scrap of backing paper then fitted the cut out stars back into the holes.

The reason I am so pushed for time is that I am creating a Flower Farm here. I'm still working the day job for a short period as well as setting this up during the worst spring ever. I took two weeks out to go on a Floristry course which was brilliant but put me even further behind with everything else. My new site is : www.floralacre.co.uk and I am on Instagram @floralacre The website is not finished yet. I'm finding that and all the social media stuff hard as it's all new to me.
I am constantly chasing my tail but am making progress. I'd love to catch up with you all but don't know when I last had time to visit any blogs. Thank you to those of who still take the time to visit. I will get back to visiting soon, I hope.

Popping over to Pixie's Snippets Playground as I have used ancient snippets and also old cardstock!

Gold and turquoise - Yum

Hello Lovely Crafters,
Lucinda has chosen a delicious colour combination for this week's challenge at 52CCT

I still didn't have much time so this is simple card but I love the colours and the richness.

The bauble is coloured with turquoise Brusho and I dipped the ribbon in to so it's all matchy matchy.
Do have a go, though it's hard to think of Christmas when spring is all around.

Thanks for visiting and Enjoy your Day. x

Tied up with string

Hello Lovely Crafters,

Can you believe it's May? We've been so busy longing for spring that April has passed by. Spring is at least here and parts of April were, indeed, lovely.

This week at 52CCT we have a sketch challenge brought to you by Lucinda.

I can see now that I haven't followed it very correctly but I hope it's near enough and  I can be forgiven. If not I'll have to be struck off.
I embossed a piece of inky crumpled paper and used that as the base. The lovely stamp is from Creative Stamping #35

We hope you will have time to join in, have a lovely weekend.
