Falling stars and an apology

Hello lovely crafters
Here is my card for this weeks 52CCT challenge on the them of Stars:

It's a lovely theme and should get your ideas flowing. I had an idea of what I wanted to do but when I'd made it it didn't look very Christmassy so I made another one at high speed in different colours. It's actually better too though I'm not quite happy with the sentiment. Bit mad though, making it all again, but I have another version ready for another occasion!

I cut out the stars which came from The Range and are very pretty but are a fiddle to get out of the dies.
Mounted it on a scrap of backing paper then fitted the cut out stars back into the holes.

The reason I am so pushed for time is that I am creating a Flower Farm here. I'm still working the day job for a short period as well as setting this up during the worst spring ever. I took two weeks out to go on a Floristry course which was brilliant but put me even further behind with everything else. My new site is : www.floralacre.co.uk and I am on Instagram @floralacre The website is not finished yet. I'm finding that and all the social media stuff hard as it's all new to me.
I am constantly chasing my tail but am making progress. I'd love to catch up with you all but don't know when I last had time to visit any blogs. Thank you to those of who still take the time to visit. I will get back to visiting soon, I hope.
Xxx

Popping over to Pixie's Snippets Playground as I have used ancient snippets and also old cardstock!

  1. Fun Christmas card, the stars look really pretty falling down the card. A flower farm, how exciting and sounds a dream working with beautiful flowers. Wishing you every success in your new venture Alison and look forward to lots of pretty flower pictures x

  2. I love your cascade of stars! Those star dies are so pretty, and look fantastic recessed like this. I wonder what the original colour way was! It sounds like you have really exciting things going on - hard work but sure it'll all come together and be worth it!

  4. Brilliant card Alison - oddly enough I've been sort of mulling over doing this to a card, but with snowflake dies. So pretty!

And congrats on the Flower Farm - sending very best wishes for it being a huge success.

    Hugs
