Here is my card.
I managed to use up a few snippets as well as some very old Washi tape which I used for the background strip. I used small amounts of card to back and pop up the parcels a little. It gives some dimension but not as much as foam pads so hopefully the card can be posted easily.
I confess it was a bit of a fiddle to make but I think I like the effect.
We hope you have fun with our sketch and use it to get ahead with your cards
I'm hopping over to Pixie's Snippets Playground to show off my card. I'm also hoping I might meed Dudley, he looks so adorable. Parsnip probably needs a cuddle too.
Elle est vraiment très originale ta carte Alison, tellement élégante en blanc avec ces touches argentées, biz
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Christmas card that makes perfect use of those little snippets of cardstock we hate to throw away! Beautiful gift wrapping too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever take on the sketch Alison - great result! I love the clean elegance of this card - and of course it's always great to use up snippets as well :)

Great idea to use snippets to make your pile of presents and use washi tape too. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteHow in the heck did I miss that sketch? You didn't though and it's a lovely card - digging the embossed presents! I have subscribed to your blog now since you leave such encouraging comments on mine! And you're British! Love it! xoxoxoxoxo
