Winter trees

Hello lovely crafters,
I hope you've all had a good week and had some time to do what you love.
We have a new challenge for you at 52CCT:

You should find lots of inspiration around you, unless you live in a warm place. Here the trees are all bare and showing their wonderful shapes.

I used an inky piece of paper and added more Distress Oxide ink and Perfect Pearls until I was happy with the depth of colour. Then I stamped round the edge, using the same colour ink, with an icicle stamp but it also looks rather like branches.
I tried adding glitter to the wet ink and a little of it clung, giving a frosty look.

Most of the glitter is now attached to everything else in my room. Love glitter, I'm sorry it's bad for the planet. This is edible glitter so I hope it biodegrades. If not - eugh!

Thanks for visiting, enjoy your day. x

  4. Such a lovely card, Alison, and such a concern about the glitter. Me, I'm thinking leaving anything that shiny behind has to be a good thing, that might explain the California Gold Rush hahaha. ;-) xoxoxo
