Hello lovely crafters.
I was recently having a sort out in my card box so I counted out the Christmas cards I have ready. I thought I had quite a few.
Three!
Better get on with it then.
The CAS Christmas card challenge is one I follow every month and this month I've actually made a card.
I've used a Christmas tree die, cut twice and layered. Dotty background and a Merry Christmas die cut which is also two layers.
It turned out a bit more fussy than I planned and the red border is wider than I wanted due to the limits of my dies and embossing folders.
However much stuff you have it's never quite right!
So I'll go and look up a few more challenges for inspiration.
Thanks for visiting, enjoy your day. x
Very pretty card Alison. LOVE the dotty background and your pretty layered tree. Great use of the colours from the challenge. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting tree, lovely card. It seems we can never really have enough dies, stamps, colouring materials ... and so on but there is always temptation out there to buy more 😉
ReplyDeleteGreat use of our challenge colors Alison, and your card is just lovely! I really like your die cut tree...soooo pretty and looks wonderful against the dotted background! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at CAS Christmas! Marcia (DT) :0)
ReplyDeleteI love your design, Alison! That whimsical Christmas tree in a pot is terrific and I really like the wide red mat! Hugs, Darnell (CCCC GD)
ReplyDeleteI think this is perfect, the dotty background adds so much texture but allows the CAS to shine! We thank you for sharing this card at CAS Christmas!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card!
