Hello lovely crafters!
So I bought a new stamp. It's a Julie Hickey flower stamp and here it is:
The new stamp is just the flowers and I've added the butterflies so I can enter Mrs A's Butterfly challenge.
I've tried to use all the colours though some of them are blended together. In the end didn't use the shape or theme. I coloured using Pro Markers and then added some gold dots and plenty of shimmer on the butterflies.
I like a bit of colouring when I'm in the mood and this is perfect for that. Next time, I'll go bright! Or cut the flowers out. Or layer them up...
As it's a new stamp, I'm also sharing at NBUS challenge #36
Thanks for visiting, enjoy your day.
Hi Alison
ReplyDeleteThat’s a very pretty card. Great colouring-in! Nice JH floral stamp and I like the additional butterflies. Xxx
A pretty stamp, beautifully coloured and the addition of the butterflies works so well.
ReplyDeleteMy heart was in my mouth when I saw the words new Julie Hickey stamp but then I realised I have this one already so I could put my purse away! Love the way you have coloured that is so delicate and really does do the stamp justice. Thankyou for coming and playing in the butterfly garden with me. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteI can see why you wanted this new stamp, Alison! It's such a pretty spray of flowers and I love the addition of the butterflies. It would look beautiful in any color scheme ~ you gotta love an image that is versatile. Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
