Hello lovely crafters
My sort out continues and I have now confronted the exact number of snippets which have accumulated in my crafty corner. It's too many, even accounting for the ones I have ruthlessly thrown, I still have enough white scraps to last a lifetime. Several lifetimes...
On the positive, I have sorted them, stored them and I know what I have and where! Best get on and make something with them now.
Here is a card I made using a Kraft snippet discovered in the sort out and also a red snippet to frame.
I used a Lavinia branch and birds and a Little Claire stamp for the centre.
Coloured with a mix of pencils, a red glittery pen and a gel pen.
I'd like to enter the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge:
Snippets used as above and I hope extra brownie points for sorting them out! Lol.
Thanks for visiting, enjoy your day.
A great Christmas card in browns and red - certainly extra brownie points for sorting your snippets into some semblance of order
ReplyDeleteWOW Alison - extra Brownie points for sure with the snippets sorting and Sarn might even throw something 'extra' into your hot chocolate! If she hasn't done so already - I know her little satchel of tricks better than she does! Dudley snoops and reports back for treats - ssshh! Beautiful card there - LOVE how you framed the Little Claire image, added the birds and also some sparkle! Lovely work!

Wonderful card Alison, I love how you’ve framed the beautiful little house scene. Well done for sorting all your snippets. However ruthless I am in throwing some away, they seem to multiply when I’m not looking! xx
ReplyDeleteLovely wintry card - suitable for Christmas or a winter birthday. Great stamping.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely extra brownie points for having a sort out and then making something with your snippets. A little dash of something alcoholic may make it's way into your hot chocolate - as long as Dudley's nowhere close by to report back! xxx
What a lovely card, The berries make a pretty frame for the little town. I love it! Smiles, Kathy DT 52 CCT
