Having had success with my brayer last week, I decided to have another go. As is always the way, the stars were not in alignment and it didn't go to plan.
I did manage to get this background out of the session. It is brayered with blue ink then spritzed with water which makes lovely snow (it was supposed to be stars but I was rather heavy handed).
The Rudolf die cut is one I bought in a packet a while back so I don't know the brand. I wanted some roof tops so I used these Polka Doodle houses. I was going to colour them but then changed my mind and only used yellow at the windows. Then I added some Stickles to the roof tops for snow. Finally a bit of star dust courtesy of a Kanban stamp which comes with a butterfly set.
I'd like to link this to:
52 Christmas Card Throwdown - pick a previous theme. I chose Rudolf/Reindeer from June 14.
Merry Monday - Ombre and glitter.
Hopefully I'll get time to visit some of the other creations this weekend.

I think this is adorable. The reindeer is great, love the bold colour, and those houses are brilliant, such fun!
ReplyDeleteI like the houses in black and white and that beautiful snowy sky, Alison! Rudolph looks like he's having a good flight! Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday!
ReplyDeleteI bought a brayer years ago after watching Barbara Grey do her thing ... it's still in its packaging! But you might just have inspired me to give it a go :) Love the little houses too!
ReplyDeleteA lovely card - love the design and your cute reindeer.
