Christmas pets

We have a new theme for you at 52CCT this week and I'm sure it will be popular.

I chose to use a topper which I don't normally do. This one reminds me of the Little Grey Rabbit books which I used to read as a child. Little Grey Rabbit's Christmas was one of my favourites. I still have the books stored away. Simpler times.

I've given it the simple treatment and it's actually all made from things lying around on my desk. I like these colours together.
Thanks for visiting, Enjoy your day. x

ABC Christmas Challenge - U or V - V is for very quick. This was quick as I had the base card and die cuts left over from previous failed projects. Plenty more bits waiting to be used!

  2. Aww, what a lovely image and so evocative of a bygone era and coupling it with the kraft cardstock just takes me back to as you say simpler times, the best times. Lovely nostalgic card Alison x

  4. Geez, Alison, it's almost an act of God why I subscribed, because it was really confusing me what they meant by Very Quick over at ABC - now I get it! Thanks!!! Love your use of Little Grey Rabbit. I don't remember him catching on here in the States - only Peter Rabbit, Mr. McGregor, Paddington Bear and of course, my favorite, Winnie the Pooh. Love learning something new about my ultimate heritage place, England. (My dad's Rowlett line came from Northhamptonshire to the American Colonies Virginia in about 1640.)xoxo
