Pyjama Day

 Hello lovely crafters!

I hope you are getting back to normal after all the festivities and if you've had terrible weather, I hope it's improving.

Here is another card which didn't turn out as envisaged (I'll let you know if one ever goes to plan).

This time at Shopping our Stash we have a fun challenge and are asking you to get inspired by your pyjamas! - #487 Pyjama Day With a picture of your pyjamas please!

Mine are very pink as you see but my card turned out much paler pink than anticipated. If I were to start again I might try stencilling on pink card.
I started with careful stencilling to try and get pink flowers and green leaves which worked on the whole. For some reason I decided to cover it with Perfect Pearls so that toned the colour down even more.  Then I added the pink flower and greeting.

Anyway the result is pink flowers with green and that was the aim...

From my stash - nameless stencil, inks and brushes, flower die and scraps, pink backing, greeting die and more scraps, star punch, ink and Glossy Accents.

I didn't have a shadow for this die so I glued it onto black and cut it out. Good result I think.

Do have a look at the design team cards as they are really fabulous and good fun. We look forward to seeing your pyjama look. You have two weeks as usual.

Thanks for visiting, enjoy your day x

  5. Missed seeing this when you posted - a pretty card and the idea you used to shadow your greeting is a good one which I often use. Nice PJ's 😀
