I'm back with a lovely card and terrible pictures. Sadly the card has long gone so no chance of any more. The photos look good on my phone but not on my laptop so maybe they look ok to you. I don't understand!
My mum requested this for my Aunt and Uncle who are celebrating an amazing 60 years together, with a card from the King and Queen, no less.
In reality it is coloured in shades of green, with sharp stamping and green shimmer watercolour paint for the flowers. Plus splats and Diamond gems for the Diamond Anniversary, of course.
I used a couple of little leaf stamps from a magazine set and repeated them round the circle. Then I added a few small leaves to fill in.
I think a Christmas version would work too.
I've used one large snippet and a few small ones too. All white. The large one was lightly embossed where I tried to emboss with a stencil but didn't get the sandwich right. I thought that added to the look quite nicely. So I'm popping into the Snippets Playground where the challenge is always anything goes with snippets.
Thanks for visiting, enjoy your day x
This is a brilliant 60th Wedding Anniversary card. So very pretty. Xxx

ReplyDeleteA very pretty card Alison, love the tones of green and your pretty flowers. What a milestone! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful 60th Anniversary card, Alison. It looks lovely in shades of green.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card and your laptop tells fibs - it looks wonderful here. Perfect card for a 60th Anniversary. My dear old Dad used to say when it was Mum and his Anniversary time, 'you celebrate coming out of jail, not going in'!! Liked to skate on thin ice I suspect!!
