Hello lovely crafters
I'm finally back with a card. I've done a little crafting over the last few months but nothing I've been able to share.
Today I'm sorting out my Christmas cards and finding, as usual, that I don't have enough. I hope you are doing better than me.
Here is one I started making and then didn't know where I was going with it. Loved the gell print, then I didn't like the stamping top left so I had to try and save it. In the end I used some die cuts to cover the stamping.
Good to see you in the playground - love this Lavinia cat and this is a great Christmas card
ReplyDeleteHello there Alison - delighted to see you playing along and to know all is well. As Val says, that's a delightful Christmas card, super background and a great save top left - which we wouldn't have guessed anyhow - LOVE the Lavinia cat as well. AND, what a smart insert for the card. You're back with a bang for sure!!

Hi Alison
ReplyDeleteSmashing gelli print and a great save by adding the die cut foliage over the top of the stamping you didn't like. I think the stamping looks nice in the background! FAB Christmas card. Hope you get a chance to catch up with your festive makes in time for the big day!
Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse shortly. xxx
What a great save! I’m with Sarn, I think the background pines look good with the die cut…a happy accident! I too am playing catch up card making 😃xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you! Lots of accidents here, lol. I can't visit you as your comment is anonymous but I hope you'll see my thanks.
