Christmas Snippets

 Hello lovely crafters

I gathered together a pile of snippets to make gift tags. This is a thing I often do in December when I suddenly realise I need them. They were mostly inky pieces so had interesting patterns on them.

I used Christmas dies and corner punches to finish them off nicely.

Everything you see is a snippet including the base cards. When finished I ran them through my die cutting machine to flatten them. A tip given by Miss Di some time ago.

What was I thinking? I'd forgotten how fiddly it is to insert the tiny pieces into the die cut.

For two of them I managed to hold the die over the other die cut and push them out into place rather than dropping them all out then trying to find where they go.
There is always one missing, on the floor or stuck to a cat.

The stars were so much quicker and easier.

Some of the snippets.

I'm skipping over to the Snippets playground with this homework.
Always anything goes but you must use snippets and say what you have used.

Thanks for visiting. Merry Christmas to everyone πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„

  3. Your tags are lovely, and your description of what happens to the little bits so funny, especially stuck to the cat πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  4. A super selection of tags. Putting little pieces back into die cuts is fiddly but IMHO well worth the effort and it certainly is a good way of using up Snippets.
