Sunshine on a card

Hello lovely crafters.
I've broken out a set of stamps I've had for a few years and not used enough.

I used two different flower heads and three kinds of leaves and then coloured them with Promarkers.
I think it'll be good for a late summer birthday. Or perhaps a February birthday when all is gloomy.

I confess the oval is covering a square hole in the card. I cut it for a previous project but it was squint. I chose it to start stamping the sunflower on, not really thinking how I would finish it off. Anyway, no-one will know if you don't tell.

So I can skip over to Pixie's Snippets Playground as my card is all made from scraps. The base card was abandoned from a previous project too. It has 'Merry Christmas' stamped badly on it.
At Sunny Day Crafting the challenge is F for Flowers. My favourite theme.

The Sisterhood of Crafters are looking for Harvest Hoe Down. I don't really want to think about the end of summer but I have the best sunflowers I've ever grown this year.

Also The Flower Challenge is asking us to focus on Background Stamping. I love stamping backgrounds and when I first started I made plenty but didn't know how to finish them off. I found a couple the other day still not finished.
Thanks for visiting and Enjoy The Day.

 I used
 Papermania Sunflower  and leaf stamps
Paper smooches sentiment
JustRite oval die and dots stamp.
